These are such attractive ducks and are found all over the British Isles during the winter months. They are usually seen in small groups and can be found on salt or fresh water. They spend most of the winter at sea, but come inland to breed. These pictures were taken at Marytin Mere in late March using the Canon 20d 100-400mm ISL
