KIMCOMANIA
REDPOLL

These small finches are an absolute favourite, they will nest in willows, hawthorn and alder and are also attracted by new conifer plantations. They are not easy to find, and I went to the Wyre Forest to photograph this selection.

..I liked the pose of this one!!

YELLOWHAMMER
One of the brightest yellow birds, it is a common sight in the countryside, and often seen perched on a high twig and has the familiar song, usually referred to as "A little bit of bread and no cheese" They are widespread, although I did take these pictures with the Redpolls in the Wyre Forest.

.. having lunch..

..and searching for some more ....

GREY WAGTAIL
This attractive wagtail was taken at Llanfairfechan , but it is pretty common anywhere in the UK, favouring anywhere where there is water!
